Working at Ibn nafees in 24 hour clinic since 2010 , managing all chronic and acute emergency cases with special interest in internal medicine.
Resident co – ordinator liasing with wards and emergency team members for the excellent care of the patients and healthy enviroment.
Actively involved in quality improvement , teaching and training of junior doctors arranging emergency departmental weekly teaching sessions
Dr Anila is a specialist physician that graduated with gold medal from the University of Dow in Karachi – Pakistan 1997. Since then she worked initially in Civil Hospital Karachi as a junior doctor before moving to the UK in 2003 were she got her GMC registration.
In the UK, she took various medical posts as an SHO in the field of gastroenterology, cardiology and respiratory medicine in different hospitals including Hammersmith, Whipp Cross, Ealing hospital etc.
Dr Anila finally moved to Bahrain and joined Ibn Al Nafees Hospital in 2010. Since then she covered the 24 hours clinic. Simultaneously, she was granted the membership of the royal college of physicians in the UK – MRCP UK. Currently, she is working as a specialist physician and is actively involved in quality improvement, teaching and training of junior doctors.
